Onyx is building the future of fitness and the world’s smartest digital trainer. It counts your reps, corrects your form, and motivates you in real-time. It allows users to track nearly any exercise with the world’s first 3D motion capture system that exists on your phone. They needed a brand and UX UI that reflected the quality and innovation of their product.
We collaborated with Onyx as their creative partner across brand development, visual exploration, visual identity and UX UI of the mobile application. Including new elements and features such as social challenges, gamification, rewards, badges, training programs and explanatory workout sessions, we more broadly gave the app an identity that the Onyx team could be proud of.
In close partnership with the Onyx product and development team, we partnered to redesign and shape the mobile application to accommodate the refreshed visual identity as well as to leverage, simplify and clarify functionality and flow. We focused on creating an experience that celebrates and encourages the users through all steps of their workout journey.
