We collaborated with Nomads Surfing to create an environmental campaign with the aim of educating their consumer on the production and eco-materials behind their products.
Surfers are some of the most passionate nature-lovers in the world. However, the production of surf gear has a big negative impact on the environment due to product lifecycle, carbon footprint and transportation. Nomads are making waves in the surf industry by setting a new environmental standard for surf gear.
We decided to focus the campaign around Nomad’s latest product; a fin made from recycled fishing nets. We wanted the design to be bold and impactful and set a tone that would resonate with the surfing community while urging them to make better decisions and think environmentally the next time they went out on the water.
The result was a comprehensive social media strategy and campaign, that perfectly hit the tone Nomads were aiming for. Our visuals and copy complimented each other, resulting in an impactful yet moving marketing campaign that Nomads were proud to post, and which successfully engaged their community.
