STRAFFR is a smart resistance band that makes working out simple, effective, and personalized. We delivered product design, mobile app UX and UI, brand identity, packaging, campaign, marketing visuals, and a landing site.
This was a total re-brand and re-build of both the STRAFFR product and app. The STRAFFR team came to us needing insight and action on the entire experience of their MVP, including the design of their resistance band. The challenge was to create a sleek brand, intuitive app experience, and connect the resistance band with the app through design consistency and interaction, in particular the workout bubble and a ‘how-to-use’ for the band.
We began the process by analysing the current app design and experience, and rebuilding their entire flow. Alongside the digital design, we also began working on sketches for the product design of the resistence band and the packaging of the case. Working on product design, UX, UI and branding at the same time ensured that we built a unifed brand experience with a strong connection between the real and virtal worlds of STRAFFR. After several rounds of UX exploration and logistical strategy around structure and interation between the app and product, we crafted a truly innovative workout experience for STRAFFR.
Having the opportunity to work with such an exciting startup from product ideation to designing and delivering two crowd funding campaings was a unique experience for us. The final deliverable was a complete app experience with the entire product design, and a very happy client.
